About the owner Soren Christensen
I grow up in Cool, CA a small northern California town. I met a beautiful women from Garden Valley, CA and said to myself, I have to marry that girl. We were married in 2002 in Fort Bragg, CA along the most wonderful coastline nestled in a cypress tree grove. We now have two beautiful little girls that both attend Georgetown Elementary School.
I attended Universal Technical Institute (UTI) in Phoenix, AZ. A very highly credited school with a great reputation in producing only the finest heating and air conditioning technicians. I spent the next many years working my way up the ranks in other service company's to become a service supervisor for a very large company. Gaining a great deal of technical and trade experience along the way.
Earning the NATE certificate was an excellent milestone in my journey to become the best. (see below for more info about NATE) I was one of the only technicians working for that large company to pass the NATE test. Without being an expert in the trade, it is very difficult to earn the NATE certification.
I attended many extra training class along the way. One of the most important courses was a heat exchanger class. (Heat exchangers are tubes or cells inside a gas fired furnace where the flames burn into.) This class was put on by a company named "Heat Exchanger Experts, Inc" located in Fort Collins, CO. At this class I learned all the "scary" facts about gas fired furnace heat exchangers and on how to "properly" inspect them.
"Extreme Makeover, Home Edition"
One of the most rewording jobs I ever did was, I was selected to be part of the team that went to Fairfield, CA to install a highly sophisticated multi-zone heating and air conditioning system for the TV Show "Extreme Makeover, Home Edition." It was a lot of hard but the end result was very rewording. (The first picture is of Soren Christensen)

"I had a great time working on this home that went to a very deserving family. I was chosen along with three others to do the final phase of the heating and air conditioning system. We got there on the second to last day of the building. It was about 7:00 pm when we got there, we finished at about 3:00 am. One of my many tasks was to install the thermostats and all the controls needed for the 3 zone control system. In between running up and down three flights of stairs and programing the system I broke a bit of a sweat.
We finished the project ahead of schedule and got cold air flowing throughout the house. All the crews were very thankful of us because it was a hot summer night in Fairfield. It was a lot of fun, I worked with a great group of people and have a wonderful story to tell to my kids."
